Most landscapers and handymen “install lights.” We engineer lighting that highlights architecture, protects pathways, and elevates outdoor experience – using cast-brass fixtures, proper electrical permits, and voltage-balanced wiring.
Before starting any installation, Phaze-In will design a lighting layout to ensure all your landscaping is adequately lit. Landscape lighting requires a specialized design to determine the exact lighting needed to illuminate specific landscapes. We promise to deliver the best design to turn your home into a special oasis.
Phaze-In Electric Ltd. specializes in landscape lighting installations, and we are authorized to perform them. We recommend using a licensed electrical contractor to perform these installations. We use a top-quality product from California, made of solid cast brass corrosion-resistant material. Our lighting comes in several finishes, including gun metal, antique bronze, silver plated, stainless steel, copper, and brass. Our lighting comes with a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, and the LED bulbs we use have a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Phaze-In offers an optional landscape lighting maintenance program exclusive to its customers. Using our maintenance program, phaze-in will come out twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, to ensure your landscaping lighting is illuminated correctly, fixtures are repositioned, any landscape lights covered under warranty that need replacement, and LED light bulbs that need to be replaced. Contact us to request more information and pricing for our program.
We can obtain a yard-and-garden electrical permit from the Electrical Safety Authority. Before installing any low-voltage transformers, we’ll test your GFCI to ensure it is working properly. Using our GFCI tester, we verify proper functionality to ensure your lights are safe and ready to use. We also check that your lighting system delivers the maximum voltage, as long runs of low-voltage cables can cause voltage drops, resulting in dim, inefficient lighting and potential LED damage. Finally, we ensure proper wattage calculations to avoid overloading your low-voltage transformer, as overloading can cause overheating or damage.
There is no guesswork and no random fixture placement. As a licensed electrical contractor, we pull garden and yard permits, test GFCI devices, and calculate load wattage using voltage-balanced wiring. Our expertise ensures that installations are safe and code-compliant every time.
We create a lighting layout that addresses architecture, trees, gardens, walkways, water features, seating, and elevation.

Conscape Lighting + Audio is a leading expert in outdoor lighting and audio solutions. Our lighting and sound systems will present your space in a brand-new light.
Landscape lighting should feel intentional. If fixtures are visible or uneven, the design was wrong.

Phaze-In Electrical is a licensed electrical contractor specializing in safe, high-end outdoor illumination. We don’t “install lights.” We engineer environments that protect guests and enhance enjoyment, and we install products that last for years.
Outdoor projects come with unique questions around durability, fixture placement, and long term maintenance. These FAQs walk you through design expectations, electrical requirements, and how to keep your system performing beautifully.
Yes. Solar lights are dim, fail in winter, and degrade quickly. Low-voltage systems provide controllable, consistent lighting 365 days a year.
Yes. Garden/yard permits through ESA – we handle them.
No. We calculate wattage and panel capacity before installation.
Voltage drop. We engineer cable runs + transformer placement to prevent it.
Yes. Proper depth, protection, and moisture resistance. We do not lay cable on soil.
Cast brass is corrosion-resistant. Aluminum/plastic fail – we don’t use them.
Yes. We can integrate speakers into existing lighting zones or run a separate audio path.
Yes. Smart outdoor controls available for lighting & audio.
